Cutting, Copying, and Pasting Clips

As you would expect of any computer program, Premiere Pro offers copy and paste functions. You may be pleasantly surprised by Premiere Pro's powerful paste commands. You can paste any number of clips in any number of tracks within the same sequence or from one sequence to another. The standard Paste command works like an overlay edit, whereas the Paste Insert command works like an insert edit. (For more about overlay and insert edits, see Chapter 6.)
