Specifying Pre- and Post-Encoding Tasks

With the Adobe Media Encoder, you can pretreat the video, making adjustments to a clip or sequence before you encode it. Certain processing tasks should occur before encoding to produce the best final result. For example, deinterlacing video before encoding it into a noninterlaced format removes potential field artifacts before they can be encoded—and exacerbated in the process.
