Creating Scrolls and Crawls

In a title scroll (aka roll), text appears to move from beyond the bottom of the screen to beyond the top of the screen. Title scrolls are frequently used in a final credit sequence or to present lengthy text onscreen.

A title crawl moves across the screen horizontally, typically from right to left. An emergency news bulletin is a classic example of a title crawl.
