Using Keyframes in the Effect Controls Window

After you animate a property, the keyframes aren’t set in stone. In the Effect Controls window’s timeline panel, you can select, move, delete, copy, and paste keyframes using the mouse. To change the property value at a keyframe, you must cue the sequence’s CTI to the keyframe and then change the value using controls in the left side of the window. (In the case of the position, you can also drag the keyframe’s x icon in the motion path; see “Reshaping a Motion Path,” later in this chapter.)
