Chapter 10. Adding Effects > Resetting an Effect to Its Default Values

Resetting an Effect to Its Default Values

Resetting an effect sets its property values to their defaults. When keyframing is inactive (and the property’s Stopwatch icon is off ), this is a good way to start over. For example, resetting the Motion effect puts the clip back in its original position: centered and full-screen.

But when keyframing is active (and the Stopwatch icon is on ), the same button only resets the values at the current keyframe or creates a keyframe using the default values.
