Using the Displacement Map Effect

In Chapter 10, “Effects Fundamentals,” you learned how compound effects alter a layer by referring to another layer, which serves as a map for the effect. The Displacement Map effect shifts the pixels of the selected layer based on the pixel values of an effect source layer, appropriately called the displacement map.
