Working with Windows Media File Editor

Windows Media File Editor performs four basic functions. First, it can trim frames from the start and end of a video, which is useful when you want to shorten a WMV file for, say, sending via e-mail.

Second, File Editor can insert markers (Figure C.1) noting selected scene changes in the video. Using the Windows Media Player menu, viewers can jump directly to the listed scenes, allowing much faster access to the content.
