Lesson 9. Video/Audio > What You've Learned

What You've Learned

  • Each frame of video is made up of two separate subframes called fields.

  • For NTSC, the spatial field order starts with field 2, or the even field. For PAL, it is the opposite: field 1, or the odd field, is the first spatial field.

  • Shake can read AIFF and WAV files, mix them together, extract curves based on audio waveform, manipulate the timing of the sound, and save out the files again.

  • You can change the timing of an audio file by first making sure that it is selected in the Audio Panel and adjusting the Time Shift parameter.
