Lesson 14. Working with Adobe Encore DVD > Exporting an MPEG2 from Premiere Pro

Exporting an MPEG2 from Premiere Pro

1.
Choose File > Export > Adobe Media Encoder.

The Transcode Settings box appears.

2.
For Format, choose MPEG2-DVD.

3.
For the Preset, choose NTSC DV High Quality 4Mb VBR 2 Pass.

4.
Click OK.

5.
In the Save File box, navigate to your 14Lesson folder, name the file 14Lesson markers.m2v, and click Save.

This may take a few minutes.

Premiere Pro exports the Timeline as an MPEG2 file that can be imported into Encore DVD. The Adobe Media Encoder is basically the same encoder as the one used by Encore DVD.

6.
When the file is rendered, save and close the Premiere Pro Project
