Lesson 14. Working with Adobe Encore DVD > Creating markers in Premiere Pro

Creating markers in Premiere Pro

1.
Start Premiere Pro.

2.
In Opening screen, click Open Project.

3.
Select Trailer.prproj and click Open.

The Premiere Pro project opens. This simple project has one AVI file in the Timeline.

4.
In the Monitor window, preview the file by pressing the Play button. Now you will add sequence markers in Premiere and export the sequence as an MPEG2 file. The sequence markers will become Chapter Point markers when the file is imported into Encore DVD.

5.
Set the current time to 321 (00;00;03;21).

6.
Choose Marker > Set Sequence Marker > Unnumbered.

This places a marker in the Timeline at the point in time where the current time indicator is.
