Lesson 10. Adding Motion > Creating animation in Premiere

Creating animation in Premiere

An animation is different from a video, in that the motion is generated synthetically, not by shooting live action. You can import animation clips into Premiere from other software programs such as Adobe After Effects. There are also a number of ways to create animations right in Adobe Premiere 6.5.

You can move, rotate, zoom, and distort a still image or video clip in Premiere. But note that you can add motion only to the entire clip; you cannot animate individual elements within the clip.
