Adding Motion 278 For this lesson, you should restore the default preferences of Premiere to the factory settings before you launch the program or start the lesson. See "Restoring default preferences" on page 5 of this Classroom in a Book. Getting started For this lesson, you'll open an existing project in which the necessary files are already imported. Then, you'll apply different motion and transparency settings to the clips. Make sure you know the location of the files used in this lesson. Insert the CD-ROM disk if necessary. For help, see "Copying the Classroom in a Book files" on page 4. 1. 2. 3. 4. Launch the Premiere 6.5 software, after you have restored the default preferences, and choose Single-Track Editing. In the Load Project Settings dialog box, choose DV - NTSC Real-Time Preview > Standard 32kHz, and click OK. Choose Edit > Preferences > General and Still Image and deselect Open Movies in Clip Window if it is selected. Click OK. Opening the existing project file 1. 2. Double-click the existing project 10Lesson.ppj in the 10Lesson folder to open it. If necessary, rearrange windows and palettes so they don't overlap by choosing Window > Workspace > Single-Track Editing. Make sure the Effect Controls palette is open for this lesson.
