1:What major advantage does a numbered marker have over an unnumbered marker?
A1: You can jump to a numbered marker by pressing and holding down Shift while pressing the number key that corresponds to the marker number.
2:What are the two different ways to fade audio in Premiere 6.5?
A2: You can fade audio by:
  • Creating new handles by clicking the red Volume Rubberband icon in the track header and positioning the pointer over a part of the red volume rubberband. Click to create a new rubberband segment and then drag the volume handle up or down.

  • Using the cross-fade tool () to cross-fade two audio clips automatically so that one fades out as another fades in.

3:What must you do to see the waveform of an audio clip?
A3: You must expand the track by clicking the arrow to the left of the audio track name.
4:Which command might you need to use before editing a video clip containing linked sound?
A4: Choose Clip > Unlink Audio and Video or select the link/unlink tool () to unlink a video clip from an audio clip before editing the video clip.
