Performing Fit-to-Fill Edits

A fit-to-fill edit changes the playback speed of the source video clip to make it fit into and exactly fill a marked space of fixed duration in the Timeline.

Xpress Pro applies a motion effect to the segment, either speeding it up or slowing it down. Hence, this edit function is a four-point edit and requires you to mark In and Out points in both the source monitor and the Timeline (Figure 6.31).
