Chapter 10. Color Correction

Chapter 10. Color Correction

Color correction typically has two goals: to represent colors realistically and consistently and/or to stylize colors to meet the artistic aims of your project.

Xpress Pro's Color Correction mode features the multi-tab Color Correction tool and the three-up Composer monitor and can help you fix problems that undermine the realism of your project. For example, you can make what's supposed to be white appear white, and what's supposed to be black appear black. Or you can make sure that every person in every shot has a realistic skin tone. Furthermore, you can use Color Correction to achieve hue, saturation, and luminance consistency across all of your shots.
