Menu Buttons

A navigational menu presents several options, letting viewers decide which parts of the DVD content they want to see. These options might be displayed in the form of words or as graphic elements, but in authoring lingo they're all known as buttons. Buttons might occupy a small area of the menu image or they may dominate the entire screen. A single DVD menu can contain up to 36 buttons, although most of the time that's way more than you'll need.
