Using the Transitions Palette

The Transitions palette lists 75 customizable transitions. You can customize the palette to display more or less information about the transitions and to temporarily hide the transitions that you don’t need. You can also save and load custom sets of transitions, and specify a default transition that can be applied with a click of the mouse.

To open the Transitions palette:

  • Do either of the following:

    • Choose Window > Show Transitions.

    • In a grouped palette, click the Transitions tab.

    The Transitions palette appears as the active palette (Figure 8.2).
