Selecting and Deleting Keyframes

You can select keyframes either directly in the motion path or the motion timeline, or using keyboard shortcuts. You can delete any selected keyframe, except for the Start and Finish keyframes.

To select a keyframe:

  • In the Motion Settings dialog box, do one of the following:

    • Click a point on the motion path.

    • Click a keyframe in the motion timeline.

    • Press to select successive keyframes in order from Start to Finish.

    • Press - to select successive keyframes in reverse order, from Finish to Start.

    In the motion path, the selected keyframe is highlighted; in the motion timeline, the selected keyframe has a triangle over it (Figure 14.25).
