Chapter 12. Creating Titles > Inserting Logos

Inserting Logos

Titles often feature a company or brand logo. In past versions of Premiere, this would mean manipulating the logo separately from the title, which could be a hassle. With the Title Designer, you can place a logo directly in the drawing area along with the other objects you create. This way, incorporating the logo into the design is simple.

To insert a logo:

1.
Make sure no objects are selected and choose Title > Logo > Insert Logo (Figure 12.118).

A Load Logo dialog box appears. By default, it opens the Logos folder, which is located in the Premiere’s Presets folder.

2.
In the Load Logo dialog box, locate the logo you want to use, and click Open (Figure 12.119).

The logo appears in the drawing area at full size (Figure 12.120).

3.
If necessary, adjust the logo’s properties, such as position, opacity, and scale.
