Viewing Keyframes

When you create an effect keyframe, a visible icon appears in the clip in the timeline. You can view the effect keyframes of a clip by expanding its video track and—if it isn’t the Video 1 track—choosing the Display Keyframe icon in the expanded track.

When the applied effect isn’t animated, the effect uses a single set of property values throughout the clip. These static keyframes appear as rectangles in the expanded clip. You can move them, but you can’t assign different values to each one (Figure 11.35).
