Chapter 2. Welcome to Final Cut Pro > Changing the Settings of an Existing Sequ...

Changing the Settings of an Existing Sequence

You can open and review or modify any individual sequence's settings in the Sequence Settings window. The Sequence Settings window contains the same options as the Sequence Preset Editor, plus a Timeline Options tab where you can customize a sequence's display options. When you modify settings for an individual sequence, you are changing the settings for that sequence only.

To change the settings for an individual sequence:

1.
Make the sequence active by selecting it in the Browser or Timeline.

2.
Choose Sequence > Settings (Figure 2.70).

Figure 2.70. Select the sequence; then choose Sequence > Settings.

The Sequence Settings window appears (Figure 2.71).

Figure 2.71. The Sequence Settings window contains the same options as the Sequence Preset Editor, plus a Timeline Options tab where you can customize display options for the selected sequence. Modifying settings for an individual sequence changes the settings for that sequence only.

Review or modify your sequence settings; then click OK.

For a list of your options on the General and Video Processing tabs, see “Specifying Sequence Settings” earlier in this chapter. For a list of your options on the Timeline Options tab, see “Customizing the Timeline Display,” also earlier in this chapter.
