Exporting Sequences and Clips

If you want to convert your Final Cut Pro sequence to another digital format for use in computer-based media, exporting is the right choice for you. You can also export sound files, snippets of clips, or single-frame images. Final Cut Pro offers a variety of format options.

When you export, Final Cut Pro uses Quick Time's compression codec and file format conversion features to generate a media file on your hard drive in the format you choose.
