Using Simulation Effects

Simulation effects mimic the behavior of natural phenomena, such as the refraction of light through water or a material shattered by a percussive force. In the past, only the Production Bundle included effects in the Simulation category. Now, Adobe makes five Simulation effects available on its Web site as an incentive for registering your copy of After Effects. These effects either work best in conjunction with one another, or include extensive sets of properties. Space considerations allow for only a quick rundown of these effects here. If you want to learn more, you can download thorough instructions from Adobe's Web site along with the plug-ins themselves.
