Chapter 16. Production Bundle Techniques > Simulating Handwriting with Vector P...

Simulating Handwriting with Vector Paint

The previous task explained the basic procedure for using Vector Paint's standard mode, which enables you to control precisely the starting and ending times of each stroke. But to capture the act of writing or drawing more fluidly, you can employ Vector Paint's QuickPaint mode.

Ordinarily, you set the current time to deter-mine the start time of each stroke. In contrast, QuickPaint mode includes several options that affect the start time of strokes so that you can record them quickly and continuously without having to reset the current time. And unlike Vector Paint's default mode—which momentarily delays the display of each stroke—QuickPaint displays strokes immediately, making it possible to paint a quick series of strokes.
