Chapter 17. Output > Creating Templates

Creating Templates

You should save your most commonly used settings as templates so that you can apply them by selecting templates in the Render Settings and Output Module pull-down menus in the Render Queue window. You can also make your most useful render settings and output-module templates your default settings. You can even save templates as stand-alone files that you can then move to other systems or share with other users.

To create a template:

1.
Do one of the following:

  • To create a render settings template, choose Make Template in the Render Settings pulldown menu (Figure 17.52).

  • To create an output-module template, choose Make Template in the Output Module pulldown menu.

Depending on your choice, a Render Settings Templates or Output Module Templates dialog box appears.

2.
Click New in the Render Settings Templates or Output Module Templates dialog box (Figure 17.53).
