Chapter 13. Keyframe Interpolation > Spatial Interpolation in the Motion Path

Spatial Interpolation in the Motion Path

In Chapter 7, you learned that you can change the spatial positioning of each keyframe by dragging it directly into a Composition or Layer window. This section focuses on using spatial interpolation to change the course of the motion path from one keyframe to the next.

Because you can apply your mastery of mask paths to editing motion paths, this section reviews the key points. As you become more comfortable with editing paths, learn how to toggle from the Selection tool to the Pen tool. Switching tools from the keyboard will save you many trips to Tools.
