Setting Color in the Effect Controls Window

The Effect Controls window allows you to choose colors by selecting a color swatch to open a color picker, or by selecting an eyedropper to sample a screen color.

To set the color using a color picker:

1.
For an effect in the Effect Controls window, click the color swatch to open a color picker (Figure 10.30).

A color picker appears (Figure 10.31 and Figure 10.32).

2.
Use the controls in the color picker to select a color.

The particular controls differ, depending on your platform.

Click OK to close the color picker.

The color you selected appears in the color swatch for the effect property.
