Viewing 3D Layers in the Comp Window

The presence of 3D objects in a composition activates additional viewing options, available in a 3D View pull-down menu in the Composition window. By selecting different views, you can see and manipulate 3D layers, cameras, and lights from different angles. The views in this list fall into three categories: Orthogonal views, Custom views, and Camera views.

Orthogonal views show the composition from the six sides of its 3D space: front, left, right, back, top, and bottom. In an Orthogonal view, lengths and distances are displayed accurately at the expense of perspective (Figure 14.3).
