Changing the Audio Level

You can, of course, adjust your movie’s audio level with a control that’s available in both the linear standard controller and the VR standard controller, as long the movie has audio.

To change the audio level:

1.
Hold down the Volume Control button—the speaker icon located at the far left of the controller (Figure 5.11).

Figure 5.11. Use the Volume Control button to adjust the volume of a movie.

A vertical slider pops up to the left of the button (Figure 5.12).

Figure 5.12. Hold down the Volume Control until an image that looks like a thermometer appears. Then drag the indicator up to increase the volume or down to decrease the volume.

2.
As you continue to hold down the mouse button, drag the indicator up or down.

As you slide up or down, the number of lines emanating from the speaker changes.

Moving the indicator up increases the volume, and moving it down decreases the volume.

When you play the movie, the volume of the audio is correspondingly louder or softer.
