Changing the Background Color of a Sprite Track

Sprite tracks have a background color, which is easy to change if you’re so inclined.

To change a sprite track’s background color:

1.
From the Movie menu, choose Get Movie Properties.

2.
From the left pop-up menu, choose the sprite track; from the right pop-up menu, choose Properties.

The current background color appears in the rectangle below the words Background Color.

3.
Click the Set button to the right of the colored bar (Figure 11.6).

Figure 11.6. Click the Set button in the Sprite Properties panel.

A dialog box in which you can choose a color appears (Figure 11.7).

Figure 11.7. Use the color picker dialog box (top, Mac OS 9; bottom, Windows) to choose a new background color.

4.
Choose a color, and click OK to close the dialog box.

The color that you selected is now the sprite track’s background color (Figure 11.8).
