Changing Window Sizes

Typically, the first thing new QuickTime users want to do is resize the movie window. Although you generally get the best performance by not changing the window size, we know that this knowledge is not going to stop you. And there are legitimate reasons for stretching out or shrinking a window.

To change a window’s size:

  • From the Movie menu, choose Half Size, Double Size, or Fill Screen (Figure 2.28).

  • Click the notched area in the bottom-right corner of the window (called the resize control), and drag in or out (Figure 2.29).
