Final Cut Pro is my editor of choice, but it will never replace After Effects as the premier tool for creating motion graphics. So how do you move your files back and forth between them?

After Effects is QuickTime savvy, which means it can open the files you captured in Final Cut Pro right off your disk. So go ahead and open your clips in After Effects, perform amazing feats such as ramping or creating awesome keyframe effects, and export a QuickTime movie you can suck right back into Final Cut Pro.
