Specifying Keyframe and Rendering Settings

Keyframe and rendering settings work in conjunction with the video settings to determine how frames of the program are processed and played back. Rendering options become especially important when you begin previewing the program and rendering effects (covered in Chapter 9).

Keyframe options determine how certain types of video compression are applied. Keyframe options are more pertinent when you are exporting a movie file; they are not usually important as project settings.
