Chapter 1. Premiere Basics > Correcting Mistakes

Correcting Mistakes

Many people judge a program not only by how much it can do, but also by how much it can undo. Premiere allows up to 99 levels of undo. In other words, you can negate up to 99 of your most recent actions. If you change your mind yet again, you can redo the last undone action.

Premiere 6 introduces a History palette, which lists your recent actions, so it's easier to choose exactly how many steps back you'd like to take. This new feature is covered in the following section.
