Setting the Fill Color

When a clip containing a motion setting does not fill the visible frame, the empty part of the frame is filled with a solid color. You can select a fill color either from the sample frame or from a color picker.

To set the fill color:

In the Fill Color area in the lower left of the Motion Settings dialog box, do one of the following:

  • To select a color from the clip image, click in the sample frame.

    The eyedropper tool appears, and the selected color appears in the Fill Color swatch and in the preview area of the Motion Settings dialog box (Figure 14.48).

  • To pick a color from the color picker, click in the color swatch (Figure 14.49).

    The color picker appears. Select a color and click OK to close the color picker and return to the Motion Settings dialog box. The fill color appears in the sample preview.
