Drawing Space and Aspect Ratio

The drawing space determines the pixel dimensions of the title clip. When you add the title to the program, Premiere automatically scales it to fit the screen dimensions you set for the video settings (see "Specifying Video Settings" in Chapter 2).

The drawing area of the title window and the size of the program's video don't necessarily need to match, however. Objects that you create in the title window are vector-based, so Premiere can scale a title to the output size without making the edges look jagged (Figures 12.16 and 12.17).
