Chapter 12. Creating Titles > Objects and Attributes

Objects and Attributes

The following sections explain how to create text and graphic objects. Each object you create can have its own set of properties, or attributes—such as color, opacity, line weight, and font. In the following sections, the attributes unique to each kind of object—text and graphics—are addressed first. Later sections deal with attributes that are relevant to both text and graphics.

You can set most attributes before or after you create an object. If you want to change the attributes of an object, make sure it's selected. A bounding box with selection handles appears around a selected object. If you want to set the attributes first without affecting existing objects, make sure no objects are selected.
