Chapter 15. Creating Output > Using Special Processing Options

Using Special Processing Options

In the Export Movie Settings dialog box, special processing options allow you to further control the characteristics of the final movie. These options are particularly useful if you are preparing movies that require limited data rates—for CD-ROM or Web playback, for example.

Admittedly, Premiere 6 includes plug-in options (Media Cleaner and Real Media) that have presets optimized for CD-ROM and Web delivery. Nevertheless, the special processing options permit you to fine-tune various settings yourself, using the standard Export dialog box. You can crop the movie; optimize resizing; and add noise-reduction, deinterlacing, and gamma-correction filters. Premiere dynamically previews these options, as well as the effects of any other filters and transitions.
