Chapter 5. Creating a Program > Project Window Storyboard Editing

Project Window Storyboard Editing

In Chapter 3, you saw how setting the Project window to the icon view allows you to see the clips in a bin as free-floating icon frames rather than a list. Icon view isn't just a nice way to see your clips as large images (which can also be helpful for a partner or client). You can arrange the clip icons into a storyboard, or a sequence of still images that represent the order that you anticipate for the final program (Figure 5.46). When you're happy with your storyboard, Premiere can assemble it into the program automatically for an instant rough cut.

Figure 5.46. You can create a storyboard by using the icon view of the Project window.
