Chapter 16. Capturing Video > Using the Movie Capture Window

Using the Movie Capture Window

In Premiere 6, the Movie Capture window includes two tabbed palettes: Logging and Settings. Clicking the Logging tab reveals controls you can use to define the part of the video you want to capture, or to log the in and out points to a batch list for capturing later. Settings that were once only available from the menu bar can now be accessed from the Settings panel. By clicking the Settings tab, you can view and change capture settings, or set up the scratch disks and device control.

If you want, you can hide the tabbed panels and access other options from the Movie Capture window's new pull-down menu.
