Removing Keyframes

You can remove a single keyframe from an effect or remove the animation altogether. When you remove the animation, the effect's keyframes disappear, and the effect uses a single set of property values taken from the first keyframe.

To delete a keyframe:

1.
To cue the edit line to a keyframe, do either of the following:

  • In the keyframe navigator, click the previous keyframe or next keyframe button.

or

  • Click the keyframe in the clip.

The edit line is cued to the keyframe, and the keyframe navigator displays a check in the box (Figure 11.50).

2.
In the keyframe navigator, click the checkbox to remove the check and the keyframe (Figure 11.51).

The keyframe is removed, and the effect's property values are reinterpolated based on the existing keyframes.
