About titles

Titles include text, lines, shapes, and rolling credits. Titles are separate files that you work with just like other types of source clips. A title becomes part of your video project only when you add it to the Timeline for that project. Titles can be edited using cuts and transitions. Titles can also be superimposed over other clips. You can also create a title using a graphics or title application, save it in a format compatible with Premiere, such as pict (.pct), TIFF (.tif), Photoshop (.psd), Illustrator (.ai or .eps), and import the title file into your Premiere project.
