Lesson 8. Creating a Title > Exporting the movie

Exporting the movie

Now you'll export the project into a movie for Web viewing. The Save for Web export option provides several different Web output formats.

1.
Click the Timeline title bar to activate it.

2.
Choose File > Export Timeline > Save for Web. The Save for Web dialog box appears.

3.
Click Settings and select a preset to export to the format you have chosen to be the default plug-in for your Web browser. (In this case, choose the download version rather than the streaming version.) Choose one of the following: QuickTime Progressive Download, Real GT Download, or Windows Media Audio.

4.
Make sure that Entire Project is selected for Export.

5.
Click Start.

6.
After the export is complete, you can play your Web video in your Web browser. You can also post it to your own Web site to share it with your friends. (Be sure to tell them which plug-in to use for viewing the file).
