Audio Effects

After Effects includes several effects to process audio layers. Usually, you use these effects to enhance certain aspects of the audio, while de-emphasizing unwanted sounds—a process commonly referred to as audio sweetening. Other times, you may want to deliberately distort the audio to create special effects.

After Effects'audio tools have improved and expanded from earlier versions, and the Production Bundle offers several additional (and more powerful) audio effects. Generally, these provide all the control most users require. But for more precise audio editing, or for a more extensive set of audio processing tools, turn to a dedicated audio editing system.
