Moving Keyframes

You can move one or more keyframes of one or more properties to a different point in time.

To move keyframes:

1.
Select one or more keyframes (explained in, "Selecting and Deleting Keyframes," earlier in this chapter (Figure 7.61).

Drag the selected keyframes to a new position in the time graph (Figure 7.62).

Figure 7.62. … and drag them to a new position in the timeline. Shift-drag to activate snap-to-edges.


To activate the Snap to Edges feature (which helps you easily align the keyframes to the In and Out points of layers, markers, or the current time marker), press Shift after you begin dragging.

3.
Release the mouse when the keyframes are at the position in time that you want.
