Chapter 13. Keyframe Interpolation > Spatial Interpolation in the Motion Path

Spatial Interpolation in the Motion Path

In Chapter 7, you learned that you could change the spatial positioning of each key frame by dragging it directly in a Composition or Layer window. This section focuses on using spatial interpolation to change the course the motion path takes from one keyframe to the next.

Because you can apply your mastery of mask paths to editing motion paths, this section reviews the key points. As you become more comfortable with editing paths, learn how to toggle from the selection tool to the Pen tool. Switching tools from the keyboard will save you a lot of trips to the Tools palette.
