Project: Recording a “Working Copy” UDF Disc

Now let's consider what I call a “working copy” disc: It's a disc with your current project and data files that you carry with you between your computer at home and your computer at work. (A working copy disc also does double duty as a simple backup in case one of these two computers goes haywire.) We'll assume that one of your computers uses HP DLA, but the other does not have the program installed; naturally, this means you can record additional files on only one computer.

In this situation, we want to leave the disc compatible with a computer that's not running HP DLA, and we also don't want to finalize it. This way, you can continue to add (and overwrite) files until you've reached the maximum capacity of a CD-R disc.
