Using Photoshop to Create Graphic Menus and Buttons

Using Photoshop to Create Graphic Menus and Buttons

One of the unique advantages of working within the family of Adobe products is that they interact well and allow you to transfer files from one application to another seamlessly. Adobe has expanded this integration process to other third-party application developers that have partnered with Adobe, such as Sonic Solutions. Sonic's DVDit authoring software can import Photoshop files directly into the application, preserving all the individual layers. This is an extremely beneficial aspect. It allows you to spend more time on the creative and aesthetic portions of your graphics rather than trying to figure out ways to convert your graphics into different file formats. Therefore, if you create a new file in Photoshop at the proper size and lay out all your graphic elements there, you can quickly and easily import that layered Photoshop file into DVDit. DVDit keeps each layer separate and creates a new element for it so that you can add the proper functionality as desired.
