Different Styles to Lead Each Unit

Uniting groups of people into teams, whether to solve a company shipping problem or to build a house, takes planning and effort. Team leaders exhibit different styles than those who are content managing a group. Individuals’ life experiences and the values they have adopted over the years shape these styles.

Given today’s rapid rate of organizational change and the changing needs of people, it is important for those “in charge” to reevaluate and modify their styles regularly. This is the only way you can make the adaptations necessary to continue to be effective.
