Project board A timeline diagram that shows major milestones with start and finish targets
Presentation and review Team members, satellite teams, or the whole team formally present status and answer questions
Regular activity reports Written progress reports distributed weekly or monthly
Action plan review Team walk-through of the status of action assignments on the plan to complete one milestone
Production statistics Regularly collecting, distributing, posting, and analyzing data about production volume and quality
Common drive A networked folder, volume, or hard drive containing all team documents accessible to all team members
Budget controls Regularly collecting, distributing, posting, and analyzing financial data
Work sampling Conducting quality control spot checks
Operator checksheets Forms that operators use to record data about routine actions, events, and critical incidents
Dummy run Walk through or role play an existing procedure, new process, or action plan to see how it’s working
Checklist evaluation and audit Reviewing a standard list of actions or questions to determine how well things are functioning
